• Vietnam: sandy beaches, big bustling cities, hidden temples surrounded by lush jungle, and tiny merchant towns - what’s not to love? Not to mention the delicious food, fascinating history, and the kind people.
• Maldives: Such a dreamy destination. Flying in a seaplane over the tiny islands is an experience unlike any other and really puts the country in perspective. I will never forget waking up in an overwater bungalow as the sun rose over the Indian Ocean.
• Italy: The food, the history, the architecture - I love everything about Italy! From the picturesque seaside towns of the Cinque Terre, to the spectacular ancient ruins of Rome, and the romantic Tuscan Hills; I could spend years travelling around Italy and never be bored.

My list of travel aspirations continues to grow each day. A few of the places currently occupying my dreams include…
• An African safari experience in Kenya or Tanzania, where I can witness the awe-inspiring wildlife in their natural habitat.
• An Antarctic cruise, so I can step foot on the White Continent and see penguins in the wild!
• A trip to Israel and Jordan, to visit all the remarkable historical sites such as Petra and Masada, and float in the healing waters of the Dead Sea.

I grew up on the shores of Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories and I’ve always felt most at peace when I’m near or in the water.
